Ryan Paevey Confirms General Hospital Exit

Ryan Paevey, who answered questions on social media today, confirmed his character’s exit from “General Hospital,” stating “The decision to leave was his own. Paevey joined “GH” as Nathan West in 2013. After being shot by his father Faison, his character flatlined on January 30, though we know that his story is not yet over. Soaps.com recently reported on a rumor that Ryan Paevey was leaving General Hospital to pursue other projects, which he cryptically confirmed on Twitter when asked by a viewer if he would consider doing a feature film. He has already appeared in several Hallmark movies over the past few years, and a Lifetime thriller, which Paevey discussed in an interview with Soaps.com last year. A sequel to his film Unleashing Mr. Darcy appears to be in the works, and he hopes to get into action films. Paevey noted he would miss working on the show, and especially with Dominic Zamprogna, who plays his partner Dante Falconeri.
Okay guys, so to get this one out of the way early….for now, yes, Nathan West will be gone. #askGH https://t.co/f0oUmZTodp

The decision to leave was mine. @valentinifrank and I sat down to talk as gentleman, and while he was disappointed, he gave me a better send-off than i ever could have asked for, and i will always be grateful. Cut the guy some slack, his job is hard, and thankless. #AskGH https://t.co/rz8aGm0msY
