*He wasn't scene on camera for months before his tragic death. He died in the operating room when the patient he put under was opened up for surgery. The patient was smuggling bio toxins and the surgeon's knife cut into it, killing Andy.
Ron Melendez (July 6, 2007 - January 28, 2009)
Andy was an anesthesiologist at General Hospital, first working the Night Shift. It was revealed that he had an addiction to gas, which he used to help him sleep. This almost got him killed when Jolene Crowell tried to kill him while he was in one of his self-medicated states.
He became involved with sex addict Kelly Lee, but they soon settled into just a friendship and tried to help each other with their issues.
Andy succumbed to the deadly biotoxin that was released in the hospital in 2009.
