William Lipton grew up in Northern California’s Bay Area. For his role on General Hospital, his mother drives him six hours to the set in Los Angeles from San Mateo, CA. They stay for a couple of days at a time in a hotel when he has to tape scenes. Lipton is also a musician whose band, WJM, shines a spotlight on social justice issues. Outside of the arts, the young actor is a skilled athlete who plays basketball, tennis, golf, and baseball. He has two black belts in Tae Kwon Do and is part of his dojo’s competition team.
