Biography

She Attended W.T Woodson High School in Fairfax, Virginia. Graduated from Louisiana State University with a BA in Psychology. Following graduation, she moved to New York City and began modeling and studying at the Actors Company. A one time Miss Virginia, she was runner up in the Miss USA contest of 1977.

In 1980, she went to LA to pursue her acting career. After years of work on TV, she arrived on Daytime in 1992 with a role on "Days of Our Lives" before moving on to "General Hospital" six months later.

She and her husband, actor Wayne Northrop, live in the Topanga Canyon area of LA with a working cattle ranch which they run in an environmentally friendly way.
