Born in New York, NY, Jane Elliot is a delightful villianess playing Tracy Quartermaine on GH. She is an award winning actress and has had successful roles on other soaps including Guiding Light, All My Children and Days of Our Lives. She's played the role of Judy Trent on Knots Landing in 1980. Having guest-starred on NYPD, Kojak, Barnaby Jones and Law and Order, Jane has extended her career into film and Broadway as well.

In 1981, she won a Daytime Emmy Award for "Outstanding Actress in a Supporting Role in a Daytime Drama Series" for her work on General Hospital after her departure in 1980, and has two other nominations to date. In 1992, she won a Soap Opera Digest Award for "Outstanding Supporting Actress: Daytime", also for GH. Previously, in 1990, she had won her first Soap Opera Digest Award, this time for "Outstanding Villainess: Daytime", for her work on Days of Our Lives. She also has two other Soap Opera Digest nominations to date.

Ms. Elliot resides in the Los Angeles area with daughter Annie and her son Adrian currently attends the San Francisco Art Institute.
