A Romance Rekindled!

Although they’re just friends now, there was a time when Paul and Lauren were much, much more. For our money, there’s gold to be mined in the history they share. Lauren is not the type of woman who should ever be ignored, so if Michael started staying late at the office, she might just find herself looking for a way to pass the time. Heaven knows Christine doesn’t seem to have made Paul her No. 1 priority, so he, too, could find himself at loose ends. Should the formerly-wed pair renew their friendship and add a few benefits, it could create a whole lotta story for them and their significant others. Sexy, sexy story!
A Family Crisis!

We all remember that Paul shot his own son, Ricky, after the young man followed mom Isabella’s footsteps around the proverbial bend. But let’s not forget April’s daughter, Heather. Sure, she never really managed to garner much attention (let alone a decent storyline), but she did pick up a legacy-character husband (Phyllis’ son, Daniel) and stepdaughter (Lucy). What if Heather showed up on her dad’s doorstep, begging him to use his investigative skills to help locate her MIA husband, who’d last been seen heading to Genoa City to tell his mom about a secret he’d uncovered!
A Rivalry Revisited!

For a while there, Christine was spending a lot of time in Washington… or so she said! What if during that time away, she’d actually been helping first hubby Danny (pictured here with Paul and his former fellow crimefighter, Andy) deal with a legal matter. Paul wouldn’t be thrilled to find out his wife was keeping a secret, especially if Danny suddenly showed up in Genoa City determined to win the erstwhile Cricket back! This is yet another scenario in which we could see Paul turning to his friend, Lauren, for advice, only to have her pep talks about how he’s too good for Christine result in the redhead realizing he might just be the one that got away!
A Twisted New Triangle!

Jack’s been thinking about both life and love a lot lately, so it would make sense if he were to look up a woman from his past. Re-enter Emily, the smart, beautiful shrink who stole his heart (and in turn had her face stolen by Paul’s sister, Patty!). Imagine the psychological impact it would have on Paul to realize that he was falling for not only pal Jack’s woman but someone who shares his sibling’s face, if not her troubled soul. Crazy? Sure, and more than a little. But one thing it sure wouldn’t be is boring!

Look, as much as we want Paul in Genoa City, if The Young and the Restless can’t figure out what to do with him, perhaps the character should take his Bold and Beautiful self out to L.A. for a while! Poor Katie’s been so badly damaged by Bill that she still thinks of him as an option, despite how often he’s been caught canoodling with her sister, Brooke! What Katie really needs is to cross paths with the handsome guy hired to update Forrester Creations’ security protocols. Reeling after he and Christine decide to part ways, Paul took a job that would get him out of town for a while. For once, Katie would get first dibs on a guy instead of always claiming Brooke’s leftovers!
