She was born to Neil but there was concern that his brother Malcolm was her father. Later, Lily contracted ovarian cancer. All through this, Neil remained her rock.

Drucilla was in the foster care system much like Devon and identified with him. The couple legally adopted him in 2006. When Neil went blind, the two took their attraction to each other to another level. Neil eventually found out – as they always do – and exposed them publicly.

Neil and Victoria worked together and Neil suggested that they pass off the baby as his. They became engaged but when the baby died after she was born, the couple ended their engagement and Victoria eventually did reveal Eve was Cole’s.

Neil’s mother

They were on the outs all these years since Neil was furious that his mother cheated on his father. After the divorce, she never got in touch and finally, when she did, he ignored her letters. It was Hilary who helped him to reunite with her and when they met, Lucinda explained that she abandoned him because she didn’t feel she could be a good mother to him since she was an alcoholic. Neil understood because he was in recovery as well. He forgave Lucinda just before she passed away.
