Also, his closest advisor, Douglas was there when Victor met Nikki, served as his best man at more than one wedding, and saw him through the ups and downs of his tumultuous love life.
Nikki Reed and Katherine Chancellor became friends through Victor, who once worked for Chancellor Industries before creating his own empire. This unstoppable duo was there for one another during their battles for sobriety, and Nikki was devastated when the Duchess passed away.

Lauren Fenmore and Phyllis Summers gave birth to their son and daughter around the same time, so these two have been friends since the beginning. Their relationship became stressed during their teens, and they’ve flirted with romance, but are friends to this day.

In a tale told over decades, Jill Foster Abbott and Katherine Chancellor’s hatred for one another morphed into a deep and abiding love… even if they were loathe to admit it.
Hilary Curtis and Phyllis Summers were drawn together out of mutual respect and similar personalities. They had each other’s back to the end, as Phyllis acted as Hilary’s maid of honor in the hospital as she became Hilary Curtis Hamilton right before she passed away.
One of our favorite bromances, Dylan McAvoy and Ben ‘Stitch’ Rayburn were buddies who had served overseas in a war together. After Stitch joined Dylan in Genoa City, the two had each other’s back time and again.
Chloe Mitchell and Chelsea Lawson forged a friendship when they began working together on Tag ‘n ‘Grab and later on Chelsea’s fashion line. Incredibly, their friendship endured despite Chloe’s multiple attempts on Chelsea’s husband Adam’s life after he hit and killed her daughter while driving and covered it up. This relationship tends to hit rocky patches, but always endures.
Kyle Abbott and Mariah Copeland forged a bond that thrives on being honest, sometimes bluntly so, as confidantes and advice-givers for one another. Kyle was instrumental in getting Mariah together with Tessa, and their friendship survived her dislike and disdain for his love interest, and now wife, Summer Newman.
It didn’t take long for Phyllis Summers to make friends with Hilary’s twin when she arrived in Genoa City. Though it may have been bittersweet given Hilary’s death, the redhead found a supportive new bestie in Amanda Sinclair and vice-versa. The pair can often be seen sharing cocktails at Phyllis’ hotel, dishing on their lives and doling out advice the other may not want to, but may need to hear.
While this friendship ended with Rey’ Rosales’ untimely death, he and Chance Chancellor were truly there for each other in life. Partners on the GCPD, these guys just “got” each other. In a heartwarming gesture, Chance gave the bromance the ending it deserved when he worked overtime after Rey’s passing to close all of his unsolved cases.
A newer friendship in the grand scheme of things, Chloe has proven to be fiercely loyal to Sally since she hired her as her right hand at Newman Media (even after the disastrous attempt at launching a fashion platform with Chelsea). When the pair were sent packing from NE, Chloe stuck by Sally as she proposed a new venture and discovered she was pregnant.
Tessa was able to turn to her pal Elena when she was having doubts about becoming a first-time parent ahead of her and Mariah adopting Aria. Elena provided reassurance and has been there for her friend when needed, including making time in her busy schedule to attend Sharon’s impromptu baby shower and celebration in honor of “Teriah” and their daughter.
