One of the first super couples, Bill (Doug Williams) and Susan (Julie Williams) met on the set of Days of our Lives. The couple fell in love on and offscreen, and married in 1974. During Bill Hayes and Susan Seaforth-Hayes’ interview, Hayes stated, “Bill Bell who was the head writer, saw something going between our eyes that was electric and he started to write for it, and he wrote the most wonderful plotlines for us. We were written as lovers before we became lovers in life.”
Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos

Kelly Ripa (Hayley Vaughan) met Mark Consuelos (Mateo Santos) on the set of All My Children in 1995 where the on-screen couple feel in love off-screen and eloped to Vegas in 1996. An old married couple with three kids together, Michael, Lola and Joaquin, they still have oodles of chemistry as seen while he often makes appearances on Live with Kelly and Ryan!
Eileen Davidson and Vince Van Patten

Young & Restless’ Eileen Davidson (Ashley Abbott) married her co-star Vince Van Patten (Christian Page) in 2003, after meeting on set in 2000. Off-camera Davidson spends her time as a mother and step-mother, and enjoys vegetable gardening. Van Patten has two children, Richard and Vince Jr. with his former wife Betsy Russell of Saw fame, and he and Davidson share a son, Jesse Thomas.
Darin Brooks and Kelly Kruger

Bold & Beautiful’s Darin Brooks (Wyatt Spencer) and Young & Restless Kelly Kruger (Mackenzie Browning and Ava on Bold & Beautiful) met on the CBS soap opera and were married in 2016. In 2019 the couple welcomed their first daughter, Everleigh Jolie Brooks.

General Hospital’s Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones, former Belle Brady on Days of our Lives) met Brandon Barash (Johnny Zacchara, also Stefan DiMera and Jake Lambert) on the ABC soap opera. They married in 2013 and have one daughter together, Harper Rose. The couple amicably split in 2016, but continue to remain friends and co-parent their daughter.

General Hospital’s Jon Lindstrom (Kevin Collins and Ryan Chamberlain) met and fell in love with his wife Cady McClain (All My Children’s Dixie Cooney) during their daily commute to work on As the World Turns, where they played Craig Montgomery and Rosanna Cabot. The couple have been married since 2014.

Arianne Zucker and Shawn Christian met one another while working on the NBC soap opera Days of our Lives, where they played Nicole Walker and Dr. Daniel Jonas. The couple have been dating since 2014. Christian was previously married to Deborah Quinn, with who he has a daughter Kameron Christian. Zucker was previously married to her former Days of our Lives castmate Kyle Lowder (Brady Black, Rex Brady). They remain friendly and co-parent their daughter Isabella Reese Lowder.

Days of our Lives star Chrishell Stause and This is Us Justin Hartley (Fox Crane, Passions, Adam Newman on Young & Restless) stars met through former Passions and Days of our Lives castmates. The couple was married in 2017, and Stause was blindsided when Hartley filed for divorce in 2019. Hartley has a fifteen-year-old daughter, Isabella, with his ex Lindsay Hartley (Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald on Passions and Arianna Hernandez on Days of our Lives) with whom he shares custody.

Schae Harrison (Darla Forrester) met Mick Cain (C.J. Garrison) on Bold & Beautiful and have been married since 2001. When their son Haven Jude was born in 2003, Cain took time off from acting to be with their son, who he has said in an interview, has a wicked sense of humor.

General Hospital’s Maura West (Ava Jerome) met her husband Scott DeFreitas mon the As the World Turns set where they played Carly Tenney and Andy Dixon. They were married in 2000. West is a dedicated mother of five, Joseph, Katherine, Basil and Birdie with DeFreitas and Benjamin from a previous marriage to New Kids on the Block member Jonathan Knight.

Doug Davidson (Paul Williams) met his wife Cindy Fisher on the Young & Restless set in 1980 when she played Rebecca. The two were married in 1984 with rocker Rick Springfield (Dr. Noah Drake, General Hospital) as an usher. They are blessed with a daughter, Calyssa, and son, Caden.
Rebecca Herbst Michael Saucedo

Rebecca Herbst (Elizabeth Webber) and Michael Saucedo (Juan Santiago) never had a romance on General Hospital, but did off-camera. The couple married in 2001 and share three children together: Ethan Riley, Ella Bailey and Emerson Truett. An actress since a young age, Herbst would never say no to her children acting, but isn’t going to push them either.

They have been married since 1996. Along with their musical backgrounds, the couple shares a son, James and Kassie’s step-mother to Dreama, James’ daughter with ex-wife Hee Haw actress, Misty Rowe.
Thad Luckinbill and Amelia Heinle

Thad Luckinbill (JT Hellstrom) and Amelia Heinle’s (Victoria Newman) characters were married on Young & Restless and though the couple’s characters have since divorced on the show, they married in real life in 2007. They share two children, a son Thaddeus Rowe Jr. and daughter Georgia March. Luckinbill is also a step-father to Heinle’s son August Manning from her first marriage to Michael Weatherly (NCIS).
Wayne Northrop and Lynn Herring

Lynn Herring (Lucy Coe on General Hospital, and Port Charles) and Wayne Northrop (Roman Brady, Alex North, Days of our Lives) met in an acting class in 1980. Herring knew in a week that he was the one. They married in 1981 in an outdoor wedding and own a working cattle ranch with their two children, Hank and Grady.
