Never let it be said that Scott isn’t one smart cookie. In 1979, the grownup child star was offered two roles: a sitcom and a soap. She chose the latter, and 41 years later, we’re still thrilling to her work as The Young and the Restless’ Nikki Newman. Oh, and the sitcom? The pilot wasn’t picked up; it never made it to air!
You may not remember the summer of 1978, but if you were watching The Young and the Restless, you sure as a sunburn recall Davidson, who at that time made his debut as libidinous beach bum Paul Williams.
