The Grieving Widow

With a bullet to the chest, Peter took away the man Elizabeth loved with all her heart. Who could blame her for seeking revenge! But would the devoted nurse really take the life of another human being?

On what was to be Peter and Maxie’s wedding day, Sam found out just how much his actions had (supposedly) cost her. It’s not hard to imagine her using some of what she learned as the wife of a hitman to prove that payback is a… lady who prefers to wear black.
Thanks to Peter, Jason spent years bound, gagged, drugged and far from the family who believed him dead. Plus, it’s hard not to move a guy who lists “killing” under “special skills” on his resumé to the front of the suspects line-up.
No one will ever mistake Liesl for an innocent victim, yet Peter managed to frame her for some of the few crimes she didn’t actually commit. While killing him might land her behind bars again, it’s not as if the prison has yet been built that could keep her within its walls for long.
Sam and Dante have been getting closer over the past few months. Heck, he even helped her search for wrongly-presumed-dead Drew. If Peter were to put Sam’s life in danger, would Dante do whatever it took in order to keep her safe?
Anna turned a blind eye to Peter’s sins for as long as she possibly could and longer than was prudent. But Franco’s death might finally prove to her that the only way to stop Peter’s reign of terror is to stop her estwhile son dead in his tracks. Emphasis on “dead.”
Yes, yes, Alex is supposedly dead. But does anyone really believe that a woman as evil as Peter’s biological mom was felled by something as common as a bullet… or that she’d have any problem rising from her supposedly watery grave to do away with her own offspring?
Because of their complicated relationship, when Valentin at last realized the depths to which Peter had sunk, it was like a knife in his heart. Like Anna, Valentin feels at least partially responsible for what Peter has both become and done… and might be compelled to “fix” the problem in a way of which his Cassadine forebears would definitely approve.
Even those who occasionally have difficulty understanding Spinelli’s rather unique speaking pattern got the message loud and clear: The dude hates Peter with a passion once reserved for loving Maxie. Should Peter wind up being beaten to death with a computer keyboard, Spinelli will become our prime suspect.
Peter used Britt to gain access to Franco’s confidential medical files, then shared those with the world via The Invader. Like mom Obrecht, Britt’s not afraid to get her hands dirty… which means she might happily dig brother Peter’s grave should the need arise.
Their relationship got off to a rough start, but Cameron came to love Franco like a father. While the teen’s one of the nicest guys you could ever wanna meet, could this good boy go bad if he thought doing so might help him right a major wrong?
Peter knows a great deal about the wicked Cassadine matriarch, and you know what they say: Two can keep a secret if one of them is dead. Sure, Helena’s supposedly deceased, but we’ll believe that when we see it. Actually, having seen it more than once, no, we won’t.
They say there are none so blind as those who will not see… and Lord knows Maxie had her eyes closed to the truth about Peter for ages. Now that they’ve been opened to his wicket ways, it’s not hard to imagine her going from Peter’s biggest supporter to his judge, jury and executioner!
While Peter’s poison eventually led Finn to the realization that Chase was his brother, not his son, exposing the truth doesn’t negate the fact that the doctor nearly lost someone he holds dear. Come to think of it, Chase has a pretty good reason to want Peter dead, too!
Funny how once the person you were working with starts going off the rails, you suddenly regret having bought a ticket to ride. Victor’s now looking to destroy his literal partner-in-crime and if there’s one thing Cassadine’s do well, it’s eliminate their enemies!
Brook Lynn has developed very real feelings for Maxie’s child and would no-doubt go into Mama Bear mode in order to keep Peter far, far away — as in having his mail forwarded to Hell — from the baby.
Think you’ve applied for crappy jobs? All poor Chloe wanted to do was help Maxie welcome her daughter into the world. Next thing she knew, she’d been kidnapped and dragged into Peter’s dastardly plots. What better way to get out of the situation than by, er, terminating her boss?
