Kristina’s first boyfriend was also her worst. Repeatedly beaten by Kiefer Bauer, Kristina wound up in General Hospital. But he was served his just desserts when Alexis accidentally ran him over while racing her little girl to the emergency room.
In 2012, Kristina (then Lindsey Morgan) was so miffed that her parents had pulled a Lori Loughlin to get her into Yale that she returned to Port Charles to cast them in her own reality show, Mob Princess. As you can see, Alexis was thrilled.
Even though Mob Princess producer Trey Mitchell kept from Kristina that he was the son of rival mafioso Joe Scully Jr. and tricked her into marrying him on camera in Vegas, she fell for the conniver… just in time for him to be killed in a car accident.
In her brief stint as a Wesleyan coed, the biggest thing that Kristina (then Ainsworth again) learned was that she wasn’t straight. She also found out that, if the extra-credit work you offer to do is between your professor’s sheets, you’ll get kicked out.
Kristina didn’t only offer herself to Parker Forsyth to improve her grade; she was really into her professor. She didn’t even care that the older woman was married (at first). Alas, it seemed that their fraught relationship wasn’t meant to be… or was it?
A chance encounter with Parker gave Kristina an opportunity to make her jealous by kissing pal Valerie Spencer. One thing led to another (and another), and soon, Kristina and Parker were running away together to live happily ever after far from Port Charles.
Here, Sam wears the same expression that we had upon discovering that Kristina had gotten herself mixed up with malevolent Shiloh Archer and his Dawn of Day cult. But, given her history of missteps, it was all but inevitable, wasn’t it?
As Ainsworth’s second run as Kristina came to an end, the character was promoted to manager at Charlie’s. But what storyline awaited Molly and Sam’s sibling when the role was taken over by Days of Our Lives Emmy winner Kate Mansi?
Though Sam and Alexis thought that Kristina was in way over her head, she was confident that the LGBTQ+ youth center she was opening was going to help a lot of kids. How confident? Very — look at that radiant smile!
