The computer genius had been hired by Lorenzo Alcazar to create false evidence which would implicate Jason and Sonny in illegal activities. Instead, the fabricated info pointed the finger at Sam! When Spinelli was targeted by Lorenzo and his hitmen, Jason and Sam took the geek in to protect him.
Sam sabotaged Jax’s car, which prevented him from getting the legendary Dead Man’s Hand to dad John before he died. (Trust us, it’s a long story!) Although Sam intended to eventually help Jax get the cards back to his ailing pop, they didn’t make it in time because of her actions.
The unwed teen’s name was Bridget Daly. After helping deliver the child, Sam wanted to raise her with a reluctant Jason, who feared Bridget might change her mind… which is exactly what happened. Ultimately, Jason and Sam handed the child, whom they’d named Hope, over to Bridget and her grandmother.
When the pair exchanged vows, Sam was pretending to be doppelganger Alicia Montenegro. Jason was being held captive by Alicia’s mother, Allegra, who hoped the marriage would secure her own financial future. Alexis’ mother — and Sam’s grandmother — was the late Kristen Nilsson, who was also known as Kristen Bergman. The beautiful young opera singer made the fatal mistake of having an affair with Mikkos Cassadine, whose jealous wife, Helena, slit the performer’s throat!
The bad guy’s name was Andrei Karpov, and pursuing him not only put Sam’s life in grave danger, it ultimately brought about the end of her relationship with Lucky. Unlike Jason, Lucky struggled with Sam’s addiction to danger!
When Sam and Jason (who would later turn out to be his twin brother, Drew) decided to make a major lifestyle change, they purchased Derek Wells Media and renamed it Aurora. Julian had founded the company while presumed dead and in the Witness Protection Program living under the name Derek Wells.
Truth be told, it was sort of accidental. Seeking shelter during a storm, Sam set her baby down before entering a cabin to see if it was safe. She passed out, and One Life To Live transplant Todd Manning (played by Roger Howarth, who is now Franco) found the tot, picking it up. His ex-wife, Téa, whose own baby had died moments earlier, saw Todd with Sam’s son and assumed it to be her own. Rather than break her heart, Todd handed Téa the child and let Sam believe her own had died!
The pair originally crossed paths at the church in which Robin Scorpio-Drake’s funeral had been held a few hours earlier. Soon after, they would both wind up temporarily residing at the Rendezvous Motel, where they became much closer.
