The initial animosity between Dev’s smokin’-hot “father” and Sam was practically a mating dance. You’d have to have never heard of, much less seen, a soap opera not to know that it meant that they were destined to hook up. If they did so, it would not only make Jason jealous, it would potentially make Sam’s sister, Molly, question her commitment to TJ.
If, as we’ve suggested before, Jason distanced himself from Sam by getting closer to former no-strings-attached lover Carly, it would only make sense for his true love to get even by re-seducing her old flame — her “late” husband’s best friend. Beyond just stinging her one and only, the move would stick in the craw of frenemy Carly like a hook does the mouth of an unfortunate fish. Bonus!
From Port Charles (as Caleb and Livvie) to General Hospital (as McBain, then Silas, and Sam), Michael Easton and Kelly Monaco’s chemistry is well-established. By which, we mean that it’s legendary! So why not go back to that well once more when the actor’s current character becomes “disengaged” from Anna Devane? We all know that that’s coming, don’t we? (Peter’s just a bad, bad bet, Anna!)
A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, Sam was hot and heavy with the Aussie who’s currently all about Nina. What if Sam were to make another play for him? Would he suddenly find her a more attractive option, what with their reunion serving the dual purpose of pissing off archenemy Sonny and his flunky, Jason? Such a tryst might serve the additional purpose of making Nina question whether deceitful Valentin Cassadine was the least of the evils available to her.
This one’s a long shot, we know. But there’s a large and vocal contingent of fans that was ticked over how easily Sam threw away what she’d built with Jason’s twin brother. So what if, upon his resurrection — seriously, does anyone but Duke Lavery ever die-die in Port Charles? — she offered herself to him with her heart as wide open as her eyes? They could be a couple for the ages!
