Image Credit: Sean Smith/JPI Hope and Liam fell in love despite opposition from his newfound father Bill, who wasn’t a fan of Hope. Her ex, Oliver, and her step-sister, Steffy, also presented challenges but couldn’t keep the two apart.

Torn Apart
Image Credit: Sean Smith/JPI After Liam woke up next to Amber Moore, though the night was a total blackout for him, she later claimed to be pregnant with his baby. Hope and Liam waffled back and forth, but ultimately broke up so as to let him do right by his child.

Reunited

Engaged

Drawn Together

When Thomas took Hope to Cabo San Lucas, Steffy and Liam were also there. Hope and Liam stole a kiss on the beach, but he remained married to Steffy, who was injured in an ATV accident. Bill manipulated a doctor to fudge the MRI results to keep Liam with his wife.

Back Together

She became dependent on anti-anxiety pills for a time, but promised Liam she’d kick the habit after nearly drowning and running into Steffy on a ski hill.

Italian Wedding
Image Credit: Sean Smith/JPI Hope and Liam finally married in Italy after though it was a near-miss as Bill arranged for her biological father, Deacon Sharpe, to show up and delay Hope. Hope later discovered a video of Liam and Steffy kissing and demanded a do-over, but that also wasn’t to be as Liam showed up tattooed with dyed hair after a night with Steffy. Since the wedding in Italy wasn’t legally binding, Liam moved on with Steffy.

Cliff Wedding
Image Credit: Howard Wise/JPI Hope fought for her man after learning all of the details on how they’d been manipulated and Brooke and Hope decided to surprise Liam with a cliffside wedding ceremony. Vows were about to be exchanged when Steffy turned up with Taylor to tell Liam she was pregnant.

Another Canceled Wedding

Hope and Liam were set to be married again, but Hope balked after finding Liam talking with Steffy, who was visiting from overseas, ahead of time.

So Close, Yet So Far

She told him to meet her at the Eiffel Tower in Paris where they would be wed. When Wyatt’s mother, Quinn, delayed Liam, Hope assumed he was a no-show and ended up marrying Wyatt instead. After getting pregnant and losing the baby, Hope left Wyatt and moved overseas, but not before telling Liam she’d always love him.

Reconnecting

Another Wedding Attempt

Newlyweds

Crisis and Annulment

Happy Family
Image Credit: Jill Johnson/JPI After it was discovered that their daughter, Beth, was alive and living with Steffy as Phoebe, and weathering Thomas’ obsession with Hope, Liam and Hope were able to embrace their future as a family again. They remarried in a symbolic ceremony that included Thomas’ son, Douglas, as Hope had become his legal guardian, and later made it official at City Hall.

‘You’re Staring… Again’

If he wasn’t imagining that a lookalike mannequin was flirting with him, he was hatching schemes to separate her from her husband and accept him as a hunky consolation prize. When the pair began working together on Hope For the Future they became a ‘dream team’ leaving Liam feeling like a third wheel.

The Hope Whisperer
Image Credit: CBS screenshot When Thomas’ latest “mistake” not only left Hope’s line with little Hope For the Future but also led to Douglas choosing to live with Steffy and Finn, Liam was there to support his wife with reassuring words. Now, Hope For the Future is back in full swing and Douglas has agreed to come home — but it’s all because Hope agreed to work with Thomas again… which could lead to big problems in the cabin. Liam might not be whispering much longer but protesting loudly.

So while she tried to resist the impulse to throw herself at the designer, Liam did his damnedest to keep from getting so hot under the collar that his neck wound up being singed.
