We have the latest Days of Our Lives spoilers from Monday, May 9, to Friday, May 20. The final battle against the devil begins, and by the time it’s over, not everyone will be left standing. Elsewhere, Paulina is keeping her lip zipped, Jan creates more friction, and the seemingly impossible happens when Chad and EJ actually unite against a common enemy!

In today’s recap, Sarah is given the antidote, Gabi wants Jake back at DiMera, and Ava offers to bust Gwen out of jail.

Although Xander is finally free from Gwen’s influence, he still has to deal with the repercussions of recent events. Specifically, he and Maggie have to make a potentially painful decision regarding Sarah’s future!

Leo is bad news. Gwen is nothing but trouble. When he approaches her about the possibility of forming a new scheme team, all we can say is… buckle up, Salem!

Victor’s been pretty patient, but it’s time for Sonny to make a decision about his future!

Gwen is in an interesting position thanks to dueling offers. One is from her father, the other is from Ava.

Brandon Barash (Jake) shares why his family’s “hearts are shattered, yet full.”

In today’s recap, Charlie is resurrected, Allie reaches out to her family, and Ben and Ciara find the devil about to possess their baby.

A possessed Allie is ready to begin the terrifying ritual she has planned for Ben and Ciara’s baby. But in order to carry out her evil plan, she’ll need help from a familiar face. She’ll also have to battle Johnny, Susan and Marlena as they do everything in their power to reach out to Allie before it’s too late. Meanwhile, Ciara is in danger yet again when she is attacked by Evan.

After everything that’s just gone down with TR, Paulina’s daughters can’t help but worry about her.

It’s going to take more than an exorcism to rid Salem of such evil. As Days of Our Lives nears the end of the devil’s reign of terror, [spoiler] is killed — but there’s a twist!

<p>After <em>Bold & Beautiful</em>‘s Flo agreed to become Wyatt’s wife, the two of them faded so far into the background that they’ve become as impossible to spot as a Los Angeles-based blizzard. </p>

<p>Although <em>Days of Our Lives’ </em>Ben spent a whole lotta time shirtless (and that’s not a complaint, by the way), he and Ciara donned era-appropriate garb for a <em>Romeo & Juliet</em>-inspired fantasy sequence. </p>

<p>When Sonny was declared dead, his <em>General Hospital </em>widow moved on by making an honest man out of longtime bestie Jason. Soon after Sonny was resurrected, Jason did the honorable thing by stepping out of the picture and into the no-longer-occupied grave!</p>

<p>During Krista Allen’s first weeks on <em>Bold & Beautiful</em>, the wig she donned to play Taylor was so distracting, it almost prevented us from seeing just how perfect she was for the part. <em>Almost</em>. </p>

<p>Thanks to Paulina’s casual-yet-name-droppy mentions of “Michelle” and “the White house,” we assumed her <em>Beyond Salem </em>gal pal was the former First Lady. Turned out, Lani’s mom was actually referring to her friend Michelle White. </p>

<p>For reasons we still don’t quite understand, <em>General Hospital </em>added “murdering Franco” to Peter’s rap sheet, angering legions of “Friz” fans in order to reintroduce Roger Howarth as Austin, to whom many have been slow to warm up.</p>

<p>We never really got the impression that Vinny was the brightest bulb in the <em>Bold & Beautiful </em>chandelier. But darned if he didn’t manage to track a car, record a perfectly lit video on a darkened street and somehow send it <em>after </em>being run down and killed by Liam. </p>

<p>We were thrilled when <em>Young & Restless </em>brought Sean Carrigan’s Stitch back, only to be heartbroken upon discovering they’d turned the sexy doc into a babynapping creep whose motivations made about as much sense as… well, the decision to ruin so awesome a character! </p>

<p>Donna managed to help Eric spice things up in the bedroom with the help of his favorite condiment, a bottle of honey. Unfortunately, the <em>Bold & Beautiful </em>bombshell got her favorite ex all worked up… then sent him home to wife Quinn! </p>

<p>Clearly a big <em>Law & Order </em>fan, <em>Days of Our Lives’</em> Philip realized nobody would believe Brady had killed him unless there was a body. Not wanting to actually, you know, die, he did the next best thing by arranging for his artificial leg to be found! </p>

<p>While Ava’s never been one to look a gift horse in the mouth, even <em>she</em> had to decline the cockroach <em>General Hospital</em>‘s Ryan — likely with an assist from Esme — had delivered. There’s bad taste, and then there’s flat-out gross. </p>

<p>So glam was the Newman family’s Tuscan palazzo on <em>Young & Restless </em>that as everyone gathered for the wedding of Victoria and Ashland (then Richard Burgi), we almost forgot to be suspicious of the shady groom. <em>Almost</em>. </p>

<p>Rather than share a hotel room (let alone a bed) with eager-to-please Sheila, <em>Bold & Beautiful</em>‘s Deacon opted to literally live in a broom closet at Il Giardino, the restaurant at which he worked. On the plus side, this made for a very short morning commute.</p>

<p>Sure, it’s usually witches who have familiars, but how could we not love the beautiful black kitty <em>Days of Our Lives</em>‘ MarDevil morphed Susan into? It certainly made more sense than… </p>

<p>When MarDevil decided to tempt John by morphing Susan into Kristen, the <em>Days of Our Lives </em>seductress was played not by current portrayer Stacy Haiduk but the part’s originator, Eileen Davidson. Why? Hell if we know. (See what we did there?) </p>

<p><em>General Hospital </em>top doc Finn managed to save Chase’s life and prove they were brothers — not, as briefly believed, father and son — all in one fell swoop. (Yet somehow, he was unable to detect that Peter was stunned, not dead, even with the assistance of Nurse Liz!) </p>

<p>After he and Phyllis decided to end their relationship (for reasons that were never really all that clear), poor Nick was relegated to the role of supportive sibling. Somehow, the <em>Young & Restless </em>hunk hasn’t had a storyline — let alone a love interest — since! </p>

<p>As if the old-lady dress Zende designed for Paris for their first official date wasn’t bad enough, a jealous Zoe slipped her <em>Bold & Beautiful </em>sibling an elixer which… how to put this? Made sure their evening was a real gas. </p>

<p><em>Days of Our Lives</em>‘ Chanel kissed Allie… then married the blonde’s twin brother. When the devil morphed Johnny into a jerk, Chanel slept with Allie behind the back of her boyfriend, Tripp. It was complicated and messy… you know, the way real life can be. </p>

<p>No one will ever turn to a Cassadine for child-rearing advice, but this was a doozy even by their standards: Somehow, <em>General Hospital</em>‘s Nikolas thought tormenting and even pretending to stab Spencer was a good way to teach his son a valuable lesson. </p>

<p>We expected <em>Bold & Beautiful</em>‘s Zoe to prove hell hath no fury like a woman scorned after finding out beau Carter had shagged her gal pal, Quinn. Instead, the model left town without giving either so much as a frosty glare. </p>

<p>Having even less use for the holidays than a pre-haunting Ebeneezer Scrooge, <em>Days of Our Lives’ </em>MarDevil set the Horton Christmas tree on fire. (Her idea of a carol? “Great Balls of Fire” by Jerry Lee Lewis.)</p>

<p>Clearly a believer in fairy tales, <em>General Hospital</em>‘s Nina allowed herself to think that she and “Mike” could live happily ever after despite knowing his wife considered her the wicked witch of the east (side of Port Charles). </p>
