Dr. Laura Horton returns next week (and we don’t just mean via Abby’s latest alt), plus there’s a new mystery man in Salem, one who pulls double-duty as a different character over on The Young and the Restless. Speaking of double-duty, while not playing Ned Quartermaine on General Hospital, Wally Kurth reappears as Justin, who rushes to fix a major screw-up regarding Adrienne…

Friday’s Days column on the fallout from Lani’s scandalous reveal, the week’s oddities revealed, Christine’s true feelings about Gabigail and Stefan’s characters, and Sonny moving on.

Week of March 26:

In this week’s Days promo, Steve goes blind and Kayla tries to comfort her best she can, while Steve remains strong in the face of tragedy.

Monday March 26:

In Monday’s Days recap, Chad is arrested after Stefan plants drugs in his luggage and Eli and Lani’s attempt to explain their betrayal doesn’t work out the way they want.

Chad is arrested in Hong Kong.

Gabby tells Stefan she has real feelings for him.

Eli makes a huge admission to Gabi.

Doug and Julie chastise Rafe for his betrayal of Hope.

Tuesday March 27:

In Tuesday’s Days recap: Paul and Will make love, while Sonny goes on his first date with Leo, who was paid off by Vivian.

Sonny goes on a date with Leo, (played by Y&R’s Greg Rikaart) who harbors a secret.

Will and Paul make love for the first time.

Belle comes to Chad’s rescue.

Abigail freaks out when she suddenly realizes she’s in another country with Stefan.

Wednesday March 28:

In Wednesday’s Days recap, Kate hires Paul to get dirt on Vivian, Chloe gets flowers from a mysterious dude, and Will gets a job!

Kate hires Paul to find dirt on Vivian.

Chloe receives a bouquet of flowers from a secret admirer.

Brady and Sonny almost come to blows over Titan.

Will asks Adrienne for a job at The Spectator.

Thursday March 29:

In Thursday’s Days recap, Steve goes completely blind, and Kayla is forced to remove his patch and givehim sunglasses. Meanwhile, Ciara and Claire duke it out over the Face of Bella contest as Chloe receives a strange invitation from a creepy man.

Steve suffers a major setback.

Chloe and Lucas are caught off guard when they find out who sent Chloe the flowers.

Eve tries to get out of having to work with Brady.

Tripp fights with Ciara about the New Face of Bella contest.

The annual awards show soap opera fans wait for each year will take place in April. Before the ceremony many actors will arrive at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in California to meet General Hospital’s Carolyn Hennesy as host of the 45th Daytime Emmy Red Carpet show. It’ll be a glamorous event as stars of daytime television dress to impress.

Friday March 30:

In Friday’s cliffhanger Days recap, “Abigail” lies at Gabi’s trial, astonishing everyone, as Val, Jennifer and Abe learn that Lani is carrying Eli’s baby, not JJ’s.

Coming up:

Lani and Eli are dumped after Lani reveals she had sex with Eli and is carrying his baby. Lani begins to focus on her baby and comes clean with Abe about everything and though he’s shocked, he’s there for her. Val urges her son to fight for parental rights with Lani and his baby and though Eli tries to comfort Lani, she wants nothing to do with him.

Steve finally goes completely blind.

Doug and Julie are against Rafe but he sucks it up because he feels guilty.

Abigail is stunned when she sees herself dressed as Gabigail and demands Stefan take her home. Meanwhile, Stefan and Abigail are called as witnesses in Gabi’s trial.

Chloe has a surprise flower delivery.

Lucas needs a favor from his mother.

Ciara is not happy to hear Tripp admit he’s not voting on the Face of Bella contest.

Will asks Adrienne for a job.

Wyatt, the guy Theo set up with Ciara, will be back on our screens. Fans can expect Scott Shilstone to return to Days in the coming weeks.

It looks as though we’ll be seeing Sami Brady back in town since it’s been announced that Alison Sweeney will return to Days. Get your first look of the actress back on the Days set and let’s hope Sami and Will bond a bit more this time around.

Theresa Donovan has been gone for quite some time but Jen Lilley returns to Days, which likely spells drama ahead.

Dr. Laura Horton turns up, as Jaime Lyn Bauer returns to Days briefly.

A new mysterious character will be thrown into the mix since Gilles Marini has been cast on Days.

We may not have seen the last of Ben Weston, given that Robert Scott Wilson teased a Days return.

Remember the midwife Ben hired to help deliver Chad and Abby’s baby? Keep an eye out for Denice Duff to return to Days as Wendy.
