Days of our Lives actress’s girl changed her life forever.

Actress Linsey Godfrey, who currently plays the troubled Dr. Sarah Horton on Days of our Lives, took to her Instagram account to pay tribute to the most important person in her life – her daughter Aleda Adamson – on her special day. The little girl, who is also the daughter of Godfrey’s ex-husband, doting dad and actor Robert Adamson (Noah Newman, Young and the Restless), is celebrating her sixth birthday. Her mom’s tribute began, “6 years ago today this little golden fairy goddess came into my world and changed everything forever.” Godfrey went on to use her favorite nicknames and gushes, “Aleda, Ledy, Birdie, you are my greatest love. You are already such an amazing tiny human! You have the biggest, kindest heart! You’re SO funny, heavens are you smart (bites me in the bum sometimes) you’re my favorite person to play with! I love you so much kiddo.” Along with the beautiful tributes were photos and video clips of Aleda showing off her vibrant and creative little personality. Such a cutie!

Godfrey got her start in daytime playing Caroline Spencer, niece of the original character of the same name played by Joanna Johnson on The Bold and the Beautiful, a role she held from 2012 to 2018, and which crossed over to sister soap Young and the Restless for two episodes during that time. Her former co-star from the CBS soap, Ashleigh Brewer, who appeared as Ivy Forrester from 2014 – 2018, was one of the first to respond to Godfrey’s post to share birthday wishes and said, “Wow!!! Wow wow wow.. Happy Birthday Aleda!!!”
