It sounds like Ben Weston’s life will be anything but boring in the coming months.

Days of our Lives star Robert Scott Wilson loves every ounce of his character Ben Weston. In an exclusive interview with Soaps.com, he told us that Ben’s layers of complexity make him look forward to stepping into the role every day.

Wilson credits Days of our Lives Head Writer Ron Carlivati and his team for giving him so much to work with as an actor from his time as a serial killer to his redemption storyline. He says each Ben moment offers him an opportunity to do research as he did for his death sentence scene; he found inspiration from Sean Penn in Dead Man Walking.

If you’re wondering where Ben’s storyline goes in the next few months, Wilson teased a major moment. He promises that it’s “the wildest storyline I’ve ever been a part of” and he doesn’t believe it’s been done on daytime television before in this way. Does that mean a happy ending for Ben and Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal)? Wilson gave us a few hints as to whether love conquers all in the interview.

Wilson also has a few ideas about Ben’s future and whether that means starting a family and having the life he always wanted as a father. It seems that there will be some hurdles along the way before he can even consider that lifelong wish.

Watch the interview to find out what Wilson thinks about Ben and Jake Lambert’s (Brandon Barash) quest to find Gwen (Emily O’Brien), whether Ben thinks Claire Brady (Olivia Keegan) is really reformed and what show he binged during his quarantine time in Los Angeles.
