Is Xander Mr. Right and Brady Mr. Right now?

Days of our Lives’ Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) is spending time with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) while hating on her ex-fiance, Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer). Sarah and Brady are plotting revenge on Xander and Victor for playing God with their lives, and part of that may involve Sarah allowing Xander to believe she and Brady are involved. But will it become a real relationship?

Brady may not be Sarah’s Mr. Right, but he very well could become Mr. Right Now. She’s vulnerable, and as she admitted herself, she tends to end up having sex with whoever is handy when she’s feeling upset. Pretending to be a couple to hurt Xander as much as he hurt them, and spending loads of time with their heads together plotting, could lead to real feelings between Brady and Sarah, or at least an attraction and a relationship born of commiseration and convenience. Love may be just the tonic they need to heal. That said, Brady can be a sweetheart, but he can also be a flake when it comes to romantic relationships. With his ex-wife, Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) set to return to Salem, and Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) and Theresa (Jen Lilley) both out there raising his children, he may not a good bet for the long haul.

While Xander’s crimes are well-documented, he’s become the bad boy with a huge heart and he’s impossible to hate…unless you’re Sarah right now. We can’t really blame her under the circumstances, and if this duo is going to reunite it’s certainly going to take time and plenty of reparations on Xander’s part. He’ll have to get his soap opera karma before this relationship has any hope of being salvaged. That said, there’s no one else for Xander but Sarah, and he would clearly move heaven and earth to see her happy…even it if backfires spectacularly. Relationship goals, right? If Sarah truly loves Xander, and trust can be rebuilt, they can still have a future together.
