Chrishell Stause Is “Dreading” Watching Her Marriage to Justin Hartley Unravel During Season 2 of Selling Sunset
Drama, gossip, and her personal life on display during a challenging time.
Chrishell Stause is a recurring character of sorts on Days of our Lives where she portrays Jordan Ridgeway. Sure, Jordan may have been killed off November 8, 2019, but over the years, Days fans have learned never to say never when it comes to characters returning from the dead – even if we did see their demise. But until that happens, if it’s going to happen, Chrishell Stause has another job as a real estate agent in Los Angeles at The Oppenheim Group. The real estate brokers at The Oppenheim Group dropped their own series on Netflix on March 22, 2019, called Selling Sunset. This reality TV show focuses on a team of agents as they “sell the luxe life to affluent buyers in LA.” It includes drama, gossip, pregnancy scares – it’s basically a soap, which was why it was renewed for season 2 in April and boasted new stories which include romance and explosive truths revealed.
Unfortunately, some of those truths came too close to home for Stause, who was going through a public divorce from Justin Hartley (Adam, Young and the Restless; This is Us). This means that the soap star turned real estate agent’s personal life is even more on display and in quite an uncomfortable way as ET Canada shared in a Zoom interview.
Netflix drops Selling Sunset season 2 on May 22 and the actress provides her thoughts on this season. She bravely shared, “I still had a month left of shooting when my personal life kind of exploded.” She went on to say, “It’s not a comfortable thing to live in front of everyone. If I’m being 100 percent honest with you, it’s friggin’ awkward. They were there and some of it is going to be shown and I’m dreading that.” Fans can also look forward to season 3, which will premiere on August 7.
