Days of our Lives’ Judi Evans Suffers Serious Injuries From a Horseback Riding Accident (Update)

Wishing Judi Evans support while she recuperates.
Days of our Lives’ Judi Evans (Adrienne, Bonnie) is a lover of horseback riding and has often found solace in the therapy it has brought her especially after her son Austin Michael Luciano passed away in December 2019.
The actress was horseback riding Saturday May 16 when she was followed by some men. Her horse tried warning her by nipping at her feet. Evans’ rep told Soaps.com, “She then took him on a different trail then he got spooked, bolted then she fell off the horse and broke many bones and some ribs.” In fact, Evans will be healing from several broken ribs, a broken collarbone, and two chipped vertebrae in addition to a collapsed lung. When Evans was examined, it was revealed she had a blood clot on her lung. This wasn’t associated with the accident, making it appear as if the fall actually saved her life.
Judi Evans exited Days of our Lives in January after her time jump storyline revealed that she was killed in an automobile accident on Mother’s Day. Luckily for her fans, later that month, Wally Kurth spilled that Evans would be returning to Days though he didn’t say as to whom she’d be portraying – Adrienne or Bonnie.
When the actress isn’t working on set, she’s working at her second career selling cemetery plots. Evans loves to keep busy and work isn’t always abundant in Los Angeles for actresses so she enjoyed being able to help people. In her blog she revealed, “As much as I love acting, and I do, it brings me a great deal of pleasure to interact directly with people and also help them along life’s journey.”
While she’s not ready for interviews to discuss her acting career, her loss or the accident, the actress could use some love from her fans who can contact her on Twitter to send love, support, and prayers.
