Days of our Lives alum joins the latest installment of the campy movie series.

Actor Lucas Adams, who played Tripp Dalton, son of Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) on Days of our Lives from 2017 – 2019, has landed a role in an upcoming sequel in the American Pie Presents series. The original movie, American Pie, starred Jason Biggs as Jim Levenstein, with Eugene Levy playing his dad, Noah Levenstein, and centered on four teenage boys who made a pact to lose their virginity by prom night. There have been four American Pie Presents spin-offs, American Pie Presents: Band Camp, American Pie Presents: The Naked Mile, American Pie Presents: Beta House, and American Pie Presents: The Book of Love. Levy appeared in all four as Noah. has details on the newest installment, American Pie Presents: Girls Rule, in which four high school girls decide to make their last year of high school special. Sarah Rue (The Big Bang Theory, Less Than Perfect) stars as the principal, while Ed Quinn (One Day at a Time, The Last Summer) plays a single dad named Kevin. Lucas Adams will appear as McCormick. Other soap opera alums attached to the film include Danny Trejo (Sons of Anarchy), who did a stint as a bartender on Young and Restless, and Clint Howard (The Waterboy), who played Marshall on Santa Barbara.

The four high school girls in American Pie Presents: Girls Rule, Annie Watson, Stephanie Stifler, Michelle, and Kayla, are played by Madison Pettis (Five Points, The Game Plan), Lizze Broadway (The Rookie, Here And Now), Natasha Benham (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Animal Kingdom), and Piper Curda (Youth & Consequences, I Didn’t Do It) respectively. Turnt’s Darren Barnet will play Grant, Zachary Gordon, star of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid movies appears as Emmett, and Barry Bostwick (The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Mega Force) pops in as PeePaw.
