DOOL App’s Last Blast Reunion Digital Series Brings Back Fan Favorites
Days of our Lives reunites the Last Blast Crew in digital series.
Now that Chad & Abby have ended their Paris stint and are back in Salem, Days of our Lives’ DOOL App will focus on a new group of former Salemites for their latest digital series. Soaps.com is excited to share Last Blast Reunion will feature the old Last Blast crew from the 2000s including Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer), Belle Black (Martha Madison), Jan Spears (Heather Lindell), Jason Welles (Aaron Van Wagner), Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin), Susan Adamson (Lindsay Hollister), Mimi Lockhart (originally played by Farah Fath, but now played by Teressa Liane due to a scheduling conflict with Farah Fath), Kevin Lambert (previously played by Brett Lawrence and Robert Benvenisti, but now played by Chadwick Hopson), Nancy Wesley (Patrika Darbo) and Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas). There will also be a surprise appearance by a fan favorite in the first episode, Jay Kenneth Johnson as Philip Kiriakis. The new digital series will debut on Black Friday, November 29, on the DOOL App with new episodes following every Thursday. As with Chad & Abby in Paris, every episode will be made available on the NBC app and NBC website a week after the initial airing.
Last Blast Reunion will revolve around Belle and Chloe discovering Kevin has opened the .Com Café in New York, similar to the cyber café they used to frequent as teens in Salem. As they reunite, the three old friends decide to plan a reunion of the old crew. Susan, Shawn, Mimi, Jason, and Jan eventually join them revealing shocking twists culminating in a surprise ending.
Of the latest series, Days of our Lives’ co-executive producer Greg Meng said, “We are excited to bring together some of the most beloved characters from Days of our Lives in the next DOOL App series. As this new digital platform continues to grow, we can provide exciting additional content to complement the air show on NBC.”
