Days of our Lives fan favorite is building homes with his wife.

Soaps.com readers may in interested in what Days of our Lives’ Paul Telfer (Xander Kiriakis) has been up to outside of Salem. While he may play a villain who occasionally shows moments of having a heart, in real-life he along with wife Carmen Cusack are giving back. He recently posted a throwback photo of them in hard hats while on vacation, but said, “…on October 5th, we’re looking forward to wearing hard hats for a fantastic cause – @Homes4Familes. We’ll be spending the day building a home for a deserving veteran family. If you would like to support our efforts, donations are needed to cover the cost of the building materials, and we’d be honored to have your support.” You can donate to their cause, which is almost halfway to their goal of raising $1500, by their page at First Giving.

Homes 4 Families’ mission is to build resiliency, economic growth, neighborhoods, and homes for veteran families. They work to empower low-income veterans and their families to enter the middle class through affordable, full-equity homeownership and sustainable housing. The organization also works to provide service members, veterans, and their families access to comprehensive wraparound services in addition to permanent housing.
