Noel Maxam Returns As Days Director, Randy Dugan As Line Producer

Days of our Lives welcomes back Noel Maxam to the NBC soap opera.
Soaps.com has learned that Noel Maxam, who served as a producer and director at Days of our Lives from 2007 until 2012, and later returned to direct from 2015 to 2017, has once again returned to the NBC soap opera as a director. His first episode aired Monday June 24.
Noel Maxam is a graduate of the Interlochen Arts Academy, and holds a B.F.A. in Directing from Carnegie Mellon University and an M.F.A in Film and Video Production from the University of Southern California. He has an extensive resume in television as a director, writer, and producer. Maxam worked on the CBS daytime drama As the World Turns as a writer, and later on The Young and the Restless where he directed from 1999 until 2012. He also directed an episode of ABC’s General Hospital in 2004. In 2007 he became a producer on the NBC drama Days of our Lives and was promoted to Co-Executive Producer in 2011. In 2012, he left Days of our Lives to serve as a freelance director and worked directing season one of Hollywood Heights in 2012 and also served as a Director for International Promotions and Commercials at Disney. He has been nominated in 2000 and 2009 for a Directors Guild of America Award for Young and the Restless and Days of our Lives respectively. He has also been nominated for several Daytime Emmy awards for directing and won four times for being part of the Young and the Restless directing team.
In other news, Coordinating Producer Randy Dugan’s new title at Days of our Lives is Line Producer effective June 21. Dugan has been with the NBC soap opera since 2013 and previously served as an executive for MTV’s Real World and Fox Sports’ World Poker Tour.
