Days of our Lives actress will be having a girl.
Soaps.com has learned that Days of our Lives’ actress Jen Lilley, who played Theresa Donovan from 2013 to 2018, is expecting a baby girl with her husband, Jason Wayne. The couple will call their daughter Julie Evangeline. Lilley shared a photo and the news on her Instagram account and told followers, “We’re thrilled to finally announce that we’re pregnant, and even more overjoyed to say it’s a baby girl!!!! Due on or around my birthday 💕💕 thank you @people for shining a light on #fostercare and #adoption as well. Love makes a family.”
This is especially sweet for the actress and her husband in light of Lilley opening up about a devastating miscarriage last year, when she recalled, “Like 1 out of every 4 women, I’ve miscarried. When it happened, I was devastated and felt so alone. I was 12 weeks along, just a week from telling my family, and beyond excited.”
The new baby girl, when she arrives, will join her big brothers, Lilley and Wayne’s adopted son, who officially became a part of their family through the foster system, and his biological brother, whose adoption is yet to be finalized.
In an interview with People, Lilley expressed excitement surrounding the challenge of having three little ones, and said, “I’m so relieved. I absolutely love being a mom of boys, but there’s a couple of reasons we wanted a girl — one [being], we don’t have one.” She went on to add, “More importantly, the reason we wanted the girl is now my sons won’t have a bio-son to compare themselves to and I think that’s really, really important.”
Soaps.com congratulates Jen Lilley and Jason Wayne on the happy news of their expanding family and wishes them all the very best.
It’ll be live streamed as usual. It’s pricey for them to televise and the viewership isn’t enough to warrant. We hope you’ll be around to watch with us on the big night!
