Casting updates for Days of our Lives.

Days of our Lives is casting for smaller roles on the NBC soap for the next six months, since the show tapes that far in advance. Some roles are for a single appearance while other roles are recurring. Check out Soaps.com’s Days of our Lives winter dayplayer roles and watch for who will be in Salem this spring and summer below.

Returning EMT

Joseph Murray will return to Days of our Lives during the week of March 25 as an EMT. He last appeared on the NBC soap in 2013 and played an EMT on Young and the Restless in 2012, All My Children on and off from 2003 to 2011, As the World Turns in 2004, and Guiding Light from 2003 to 2004.

Bartender returns

Shawn Kathryn Kane will be returning once again to Days of our Lives as a bartender June 28. Kane was last seen on the NBC show as a waitress in December 2016. The actress also portrayed Cassie on ABC’s General Hospital in 2015.

Mysterious role

Sean Zerbe has a new mysterious gig on Days of our Lives. The actor posted on his Instagram page, “All I can say is thank you!!!!! To everyone @nbcdays cast, crew, casting, production, etc.! Keep an eye out to find out more because of NDA’s!!” The actor will likely not be seen until early summer.

Is someone getting married?

Kevin Gardner (Big Little Lies) plays Pastor Brown on Days of our Lives in one episode on April 16.

Back to Salem

Ryan Kendrick is back working at Days of our Lives. The actor confirmed on his Instagram account. Fans will remember him as Officer Callahan, who previously had scenes at the SPD with Rafe (Galen Gering), Roman (Josh Taylor), and Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove).
