Recently Soaps.com reported that The Bold and the Beautiful’s Don Diamont appeared on the talk show Steve as part of his segment Straight Talk, in which celebrities and relationship experts discuss everyday problems that couples and singles face. Today Gilles Marini (Ted Laurent) from Days of our Lives joins the panel in discussing whether it is important to pick financial security over love when choosing to settle down with someone in a long term relationship. Marini objected to the idea of putting money over love, and revealed such a conversation would never be entertained in Europe. He recalls when he came to America he only had $400, his wife and had to learn English, and he loved the struggle because it made him who he is.
