Linsey Godfrey Undergoes Surgery As Follow up to a Previous Accident

Days of our Lives actress to have leg surgery.
Soaps.com sends well wishes to Days of our Lives’ Linsey Godfrey (Sarah Horton, and Caroline Spencer on The Bold and the Beautiful) as she undergoes surgery today. The actress posted on Twitter about the surgery, and the fact that she injured her leg the night before she was scheduled to undergo the operation. “Oh what’s that Linsey you’re getting the metal taken out of your left leg tomorrow? Oh, better be careful with it then! Oh no? Let’s just run your shinbone so hard into the corner of the bed that you can barely walk on it before your surgery instead? Oh awesome great idea genius.”
Back in February of 2015, Linsey Godfrey was hospitalized after an accident in downtown Los Angeles. Godfrey, who was walking down the street, was struck by a car and pinned underneath the vehicle. She was rushed into surgery to correct damage to her ankles and spent two weeks in the hospital recovering and allowing the swelling to subside. She made a full recovery but is apparently undergoing some follow-up surgeries as a result of the accident.
Godfrey joined Days as Sarah Horton, Maggie Horton’s (Suzanne Rogers) youngest daughter, in October. The character, last played by Alli Brown, had been living in Nashville with her sister Melissa. In her years away from Salem she became a doctor and returned with fiancé Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder), only to quickly break things off with him after learning he had fathered a baby with his ex Mimi Lockhart (Farah Fath Galfond). Recently Godfrey also starred in Fatal Fashion, a thriller available on Netflix.
