Days actor combines writing and acting skills.

Soaps.com has learned that Days of our Lives actor Billy Flynn (Chad DiMera) has a new project in the works. Flynn has co-written the feature film Willowbrook, along with fellow actor Tyson Sullivan, who appeared in a dayplayer role on Days in 2006. Both will also star in the film, which is set to go into production in February 2019 with filming to take place in New York, as reported by Deadline. Flynn posted a new head shot on Instagram with the caption, “Congratulations @tysonsullivan!!!! It’s almost like there is someone looking out for us…”

Back on August 8, we reported that Billy Flynn decided to leave Days of our Lives despite the actor’s May 22 announcement that he was staying with the NBC daytime drama. Currently, his Salem character is wrapped up in a paternity mess involving his wife Abigail DiMera, who believes she’s carrying Chad’s brother Stefan’s baby when in fact she’s pregnant with her husband’s child. Though Chad has stepped away from Abigail, not able to accept the baby that he believes was convinced when Abby’s alter Gabby had sex with his brother, he has no idea his wife’s best friend Gabi Hernandez is the one pulling the strings of deceit by switching the DNA results.
