
Days of our Lives Alison Sweeney Pens The Mommy Diet. (Updated)

Soaps.com has learned from EW, that Alison Sweeney, (Sami Brady, Days of Our Lives) and host of The biggest Loser, has plans to get back into writing. She first wrote about her life, her struggle with dieting and her career, working on Days of Our Lives in her first book, “All The Days Of My Life So Far”. This time, she will team up with Simon Spotlight Entertainment who will publish a new book for her in October 2010. She’ll be writing, “The Mommy Diet”.
The book is being advertised as ‘not just another weight loss book’, but a way of life. The press release read, “The Mommy Diet is not just a weight-loss book, but a ‘diet’ of nutrition, fitness, and self-care that women can follow to look and feel fantastic—before and during pregnancy, and after giving birth.” To that, Sweeney adds, “Having two kids of my own, I am one of millions of women facing the challenge of balancing motherhood with a career, not to mention trying to find time for ourselves.”

"The Mommy Diet" goes on sale today. The book features tips, personal anecdotes, easy-to-follow exercises, fashion and nutrition advice as well as some recipes.
