Premiere date for Meredith Scott Lynn in ‘Menendez: Blood Brothers’
From a comedy role to a serious one, Meredith Scott Lynn is back in primetime.
Updated June 5: Soaps.com has learned that Meredith Scott Lynn’s Lifetime movie will premiere on Sunday June 11 at 8:00 PM. Mark your calendars, set your DVRs and watch a promo for the movie below.
Back on March 14, Soaps.com reported that Meredith Scott Lynn (Anne, “Days”) is currently filming Lifetime’s newest movie in Vancouver B.C., Canada, called “The Menendez Brothers.” Scott Lynn is portraying lawyer Leslie Abramson in a movie based on the real life story about the Menendez brothers’ murder case in 1989 where brothers Joseph Lyle Menendez and Erik Galen Menéndez were sentenced to life imprisonment with no chance of parole after killing both of their wealthy parents, entertainment executive Jose and wife Mary (Kitty), claiming that the cause was due to years of sexual and psychological abuse at their hands. The cast boasts talent such as Benito Martinez, who will portray Jose and Courtney Love (“The People vs Larry Flint”) as Mary, along with “Younger” star, Nico Tortorella as young Joseph (Lyle) and “Glee” alum, Myko Olivier as Erik.
Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato will direct and executive produce from a script written by Abdi Nazemian. Production began in February.
While still filming on “Days of our Lives” as Anne Milbauer, the actress posted a current photo of herself in a wig, on set: “In Vancouver with the new gig, new scenery, and my fat face selfie!” In a previous post Scott Lynn wrote, “Can’t wait to see the Menendez film come to life!”
