Deeper and deeper.

In this edition of “Days of our Lives” Throwback Thursday poll, Soaps.com takes readers back to 1976 when Laura Horton had to be institutionalized…

This week in Salem, Abigail began to question her sanity, and back then, her grandmother Laura (then played by Rosemary Forsyth) began to suffer from mental health issues. Laura was married to Bill Horton and gave birth to their daughter Jennifer before starting to experience bouts of depression. Laura received help from Dr. Marlena Evans and seemed to be well again, however, the discovery that Bill had an affair with his colleague Kate caused her to fall deeper into depression and soon she was experiencing hallucinations. Her suffering got to the point where she tried to commit suicide after seeing a vision. Bill found her in time to save her life, but as a result she was committed to Lakewood Sanitarium, where she remained a patient for 17 years.

Do you remember what visions Laura was seeing?
