Christmas is only three months away and one DOOL star is gearing up for it in a big way.

Based on the best-selling novel by Donna Vanliere, “Days of our Lives” Greg Vaughan (Eric Brady) will be starring in a made for television movie as part of The Most Wonderful Movies of Christmas on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries which kicks off on October 31. Filmed on location in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada, the original film, “The Christmas Note,” is about Gretchen Daniels (Jamie-Lynn Sigler “The Sopranos”) who finds her life in chaos as she returns to her home for Christmas with her young son. She helps deliver a message to neighbor, Melissa McCreary (Leah Gibson) which helps Melissa find the sister she never knew she had. The women bond and upon realizing they’re no longer alone, their friendship becomes the greatest Christmas gift they’ve ever known.

It is not known what part Vaughan will play though will update when more information becomes available.

Vaughan isn’t the only “Days” star working outside of soaps these days. Be prepared to check out Camila Banus who booked FX’s Snowfall recently.
