Moving on.

Alison Sweeney (“Days'” ex-Sami Brady) is leaving NBC’s “The Biggest Loser” after eight years, according to the show’s producers.

“After an incredible run together, Alison Sweeney will not be returning as host of ‘The Biggest Loser’ next season,” the show said in a statement to US Weekly.

After taking over for original host Caroline Rhea in 2007, Sweeney oversaw 13 seasons of the popular weight loss show. A replacement for Sweeney has not yet been named for the upcoming 17th season.

Soaps.com wishes Sweeney the best in all of her endeavors, as she still has plenty on her plate. Sweeney is producing and starring in Love on the Air and is also returning for Days’ 50th Anniversary.
