New web series.

This fall, there will be an exciting new venue for fans of soap opera action appearing on the internet. Sudsvilletv will launch later this year and feature a brand new series created specifically for the web. It will star actors from both daytime and primetime. The project is being helmed by former “Days” writer Meg Kelly. Kelly was co-head writer at “DOOL” from 2006 until 2008. Previous to that, she also wrote for “One Life to Live” and received a Daytime Emmy for her work on “As the World Turns.”

Kelly is partnering with Joseph Craig and Conklin-Intracom to create fresh content with high production values. Sudsvilletv will showcase a new soap opera in addition to sixteen series that will span from improv to game shows. The site will also feature a soap opera talk show. Soaps.com will update you as more information about this project becomes available.
