Longtime “Days of our Lives” executive producer Ken Corday is putting his other talents on display. He has penned the novel “Ladies of the Lake,” scheduled to be published by Beaufort Books on June 1. The novel takes place in the ideal community of Avalon, populated by rich and beautiful people. But things start to get ugly fast after one resident is accidentally decapitated during a fight with his wife. Jealousy and paranoia lead to more unraveling after a handsome detective starts poking around in the community following the suspicious deaths of a few more husbands.

If you’d like to pick up a copy of the novel and have a word with Ken Corday, he will be signing copies at BookCon in New York City on Saturday May 30 from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM. Look for him in the Javits Center, located at 655 W. 34th Street. He’ll be in the Midpoint Trade Books Booth (#3174).

Corday is no stranger to publishing. A few years ago, he chronicled his family’s history with soap operas in The Days of our Lives: The True Story of One Family’s Dream and the Untold History of Days of our Lives. And then learn how he plans to pay homage to Salem’s past in Soaps.com’s 42nd Daytime Emmy video interview with Days’ Ken Corday.
