NBC’s longest running soap opera “Days of our Lives” will be honored at the 83rd Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade. Familiar faces from Salem such as Deidre Hall (Marlena), Kristian Alfonso (Hope), Suzanne Rogers (Maggie), Galen Gering (Rafe), Lauren Koslow (Kate), Peggy McCay (Caroline), Joseph Mascolo (Stefano), Greg Vaughan (Eric), Bill Hayes (Doug), Susan Seaforth-Hayes (Julie), John Aniston (Victor), Shawn Christian (Daniel), Arianne Zucker (Nicole), Eric Martsolf (Brady), Kate Mansi (Abigail), Guy Wilson (Will), True O’Brien (Paige), Drake Hogestyn (John), Jen Lilley (Theresa), Mary Beth Evans (Kayla), Bryan Dattilo (Lucas), Casey Moss (JJ), Billy Flynn (Chad), Molly Burnett (Melanie), Meredith Scott Lynn (Anne), Aloma Wright (Maxine) and Christopher Sean (Paul) will all be participating in the special event. If you’re a CBS soap lover, The Bold and the Beautiful’s Rena Sofer and Sean Kanan will participate in the Hollywood Christmas Parade as well.

Viewers will be able to see the cast on the parade route in a special presentation featuring the show’s 50th anniversary logo. Finally, they will be presented with a special honor commemorating their history and successes at the Daytime Emmy Awards. Stevie Wonder will be this year’s grand marshal while Laura McKenzie (“Laura McKenzie’s Travel Tips”) and Erik Estrada (“ChiPs”) will host. The event will take place on Sunday November 3 at 5:00 PM. The event will air first on the Hallmark Channel on December 10 and be rebroadcast later in the month and in syndication. Check your local listings for when it will air in your area.
