“DOOL’s” Arianne Zucker (Nicole) has partnered with her brother Todd Zucker to co-found Arrow-Heart, an outdoor adventure camp. The project is meant to equip teens at a crossroads with the survival skills and help them take responsibility for their lives so that they can become an asset in their communities. “Our philosophy is to cultivate critical thinking skills through a character and team building structure rooted in our six C’s: character, commitment, communication, critical thinking, credibility and compassion,” Todd Zucker explained.

For Arianne, the founding of the charity was an extension of her desire to make a difference in the lives of young people. “I believe mentorship through a challenging camp experience connects us to the simplicity of the outdoors while providing the opportunity to build a strong sense of self-worth. These kids are our future and with the encouragement of our camp it is our mission to inspire them to be productive members of a world community,” she said.

Other members of the “DOOL” family have also become involved. Shawn Christian (Daniel) works on marketing and branding while The Ken Corday Foundation has offered a major sponsorship of $25,000. Arrow-Heart Adventure Camps currently have a $150,000 fundraising goal for 2013. For more about the camp, its mission and how you can help contribute, please visit Arrow-Heart.
