Marking a milestone.
Veteran “Days of our Lives” star Suzanne Rogers celebrated her 40th anniversary with the soap this week. She first arrived in Salem as Maggie Horton in July 1973. Since then, she has had amnesia, married several times, battled addiction, discovered an unknown son and even been ‘murdered’ only to come back from the dead. Rogers has also picked up a Daytime Emmy award for her work in the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series category in 1979. Rogers is currently the longest serving member of the cast.
Her co-stars, past and present, as well as series boss Ken Corday were on hand with cake to help her celebrate the milestone. Soaps.com sends our congratulations to Rogers on her long tenure with the show and hopes she will be around for many years to come.
Last week Salem had its first unwitting pot party, but it's hardly the first time people have been drugged. Vote on your favorite drug related event in Soaps.com's DOOL Poll: What Happened? And then find out what Paddy is shocked to find on Emmerdale.
