From one former prostitute to another.

Mother of the year, Kate Roberts is determined to bring down Chloe Lane, who has just returned to Salem a redeemed woman. Like any mom, Chloe wants the best for her son, Parker. But outing Chloe as a former prostitute to Jennifer Horton, Dr. Daniel’s current love, might be just a little hypocritical for Kate, don’t you think?

Billie Reed had some questions for the trailblazing tycoon mother she admired so much. But asking Kate how she got to the top of her field in business forced Kate to recall some not-so-pleasant decisions she had to make in the past – all for Lucas. According to Kate, thinking Billie and her son Austin were dead – it turned out, her ex Curtis Reed lied when he told her they died in a car accident – left Salem to go to college. It didn’t come easy for the pregnant student, who made do with menial jobs until she got her degree. But with no business experience to speak of, Kate, a newly minted graduate, couldn’t get in the front door. So she worked hard to meet the right people and make the right connections.

Those connections were clients that Kate serviced when she was a call girl for a crime lord named Stefano DiMera. Back then, Kate was a blond-haired prostitute who would do absolutely anything for her son Lucas and his future – including sleeping with men for money.

Kate’s secret was discovered by a select few Salemites who tried to use the information to their advantage. Can you remember who tried to blackmail Kate? Vote in the poll and comment below.
