On Days of Our Lives, Marcus Patrick played Abe’s nephew and former ISA Agent, Jett Carver. In real life, Marcus crusades for good causes, as he will co-host the 4th Annual Wings of Hope Gala on October 23.

Wings of Hope benefits 360: The Positive Care Center at UCSF (University of California, San Francisco) and its Men of Color, HIV & Aging, and Urban HIV Telemedicine programs. The event will honor Deborah Greenspan, DSc, BDS, and John S. Greenspan, BDS, PhD for advancing clinical, laboratory and epidemiological research, as well as clinical care and teaching, and musician Common and the Common Ground Foundation for their “A Minute” program to educate and engage a New Generation in the ongoing fight against HIV.

Marcus Patrick will co-host the event with journalist Belva Davis and local TV personality, Liam Mayclem. Olympic swimmer Greg Louganis and jazz legend Nancy Wilson serve as the celebrity co-chairs of Wings of Hope, which will feature performances by jazz greats George Duke and Narada Michael Walden. The evening will also be catered by chef Mark Dommen.
