Two awards.

If you missed Saturday’s Daytime Emmy telecast, you can catch our blow by blow recap of the awards, by reading Soaps.com’s Live Emmy Blog. “Days of our Lives” finally broke their history of being snubbed in the writing department. The series took home the award for Outstanding Writing at Saturday night’s 39th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards. The trophy went to the recently fired Head Writers Marlene McPherson and Darrell Ray Thomas Jr. Chandler Massey (Will) was named Best Younger Actor for his hard work as one of Salem’s most troubled teens.
