Days of our Lives Actors and Head Writer to Appear on Today
This story is just getting underway, as Lexie and Abe are awaiting Theo's test results from last week, but the diagnosis is sure to have far reaching consequences. Tune in to “Today” on June 24th during the 10 o’clock hour to find out what Dena, Renee and James have to say about this important storyline and then watch Days to see how it unfolds.

With the story surrounding Abe and Lexie’s son Theo being diagnosed with autism, actors Renee Jones, James Reynolds and Days of Our Lives head writer Dena Higley will be appearing on NBC’s “Today” show to discuss the issue.
A story close to Higley’s heart, the scribe knows first hand what it’s like to be the parent of an autistic child. As we reported in a previous article on the autism storyline, Dena stated, “We’re telling the profound and life-altering story of a child with autism from his parents’ point of view, their pain, their struggle and ultimately, their ability to find life-affirming hope in the midst of learning how to live day to day with this disability. This is a personal story for me…as my husband and I have walked in the shoes Abe and Lexie are now about to walk in.”
