On Friday, May 2nd, Sean Blakemore will come to Days of Our Lives as Barney, the director of Kate and Anna’s commercial shoot. We don’t know what Kate and Anna have in store for the character of Barney, but we do know Sean has plenty of experience working along side some of daytime’s finest.

During Sean’s impressive career, he has come face to face with several soap opera favorites. On his road to Days, Sean played Ben on The Young and the Restless for four episodes, he appeared in the mini series, “Into the West”, co-starring Tyler Christopher (Nikolas, General Hospital), the movie “Hot Tamale” with Matt Cedeno (ex-Brandon, Days), the movie “Motive 2” with Shemar Moore (ex-Malcolm, The Young and the Restless), the movie “Blackout” with Michael B Jordan (ex-Reggie, All My Children) and the TV show “CSI: NY” with Melina Kanakaredes (ex-Eleni, Guiding Light).

Talk about six degrees of separation! With all the daytime encounters he’s had in his career, it seems fitting that he has landed on another soap. We don’t know if Barney will be a one time thing or if he will be a recurring character, but Soaps.com will be watching to see what kind of magic he can produce for Kate and Anna!
