If there’s one thing we know about Days of Our Lives’ Kate, Marlena and Kayla, it’s that — whether individually or collectively — they are strong, fierce women who won’t be pushed around. That was very true when they were walking the streets of Salem, and it’s just as true now that they’re in the not-so-great beyond.

You’d think that’s something that Nick would know, and yet in the latest preview (which you can check out below), that would seem not to be true. But he may find out that he’s bitten off more than he can chew when Kate goes into full-blown “Karen” mode by demanding to see his manager!

And yes, that’s Blake Berris slipping back into Nick’s shoes, a role he’s quite familiar with. After all, he created the part back in 2006 and has been revisiting it sporadically over the years. Nick’s been killed twice and risen from the grave on both occasions. (The first time, it turned out he wasn’t really dead-dead, and the second he was summoned by a possessed Marlena. Because hey, that’s just how things go in Salem!)

No word on how long we can expect Berris to stick around this time, although given the storyline he’s taking part in, it seems likely to be a a relatively short stay.

It’s not exactly surprising that Nick would wind up being used by satanic forces, given his often troubling history. Viewers might remember that he was abusive with ex-wife Gabi, murdered Trent, kinda sorta stalked Melanie and… well, you get the picture.

Since their “deaths,” Marlena and her gal pals have encountered several deceased Salemites, or at least devilish facsimiles of them. This has, of course, led Days of Our Lives fan to speculate about who might show up next.
