Today, he should be romancing the young ladies of Salem, following in dad Bo’s footsteps and doing mom Hope proud. But alas, the character to whom the July 14 episode of Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem, Chapter 2 reintroduced us isn’t front and center or even cooling his jets on the backburner. Why’s that?

Sadly, he’s Beauregard Isaac Theo Brady, the supercouple’s son who was killed as a youngster in 2006 when half sister Chelsea accidentally hit him with Dad’s SUV. (Longtime viewers will recall that his liver saved niece Claire’s life and his corneas restored Abe’s eyesight.)

In Episode No. 4 of the Days of Our Lives spinoff, Hope, reunited in heaven with Bo, says that she wants to see their boy — and is surprised to find that he’s all grown up, not the child that she remembers. As he did in 2016, when Zack and his pop appeared in a vision to Hope, Scott Shilstone donned angel’s wings to play the part.

Though Hope was ready to remain in the hereafter with Bo and Zack, her late husband assured her that “we will always be with you in spirit — always.

“But,” he added, “our family needs you now. You’re not ready to be here. I know this.”

True — who can predict the next time Satan will raise hell again and make another play for Ciara and Ben’s wee one! As you dry your eyes after watching Bo and Hope’s reunion — and imagining what might have been with Zack — celebrate the Bradys’ love with our “Bope” photo gallery.
