Updated November 6: Stephen Nichols fans have been waiting patiently for his return to Days of our Lives as Steve Johnson, and Soaps.com readers can expect to see his character back in Salem beginning on Wednesday November 27, as first reported by Soap Opera Digest.

Back on May 17, Soaps.com shared that Stephen Nichols is back taping scenes as Steve Johnson at Days of our Lives and will be seen back on the canvas around the end of November. The actor posted a few photos on Instagram, thanking fans for a special welcome back gift, and stated, “When I walked off stage and saw this amazing creation, I almost plotzed. I can’t thank you enough! You, my supporters and fans of #days are the absolute best. Your unending love means the world to me. You are the reason #patchisback #patchandkaylaforever @nbcdays #patch ♥️♥️♥️” Nichols was last seen as Steve on Friday August 31 after he was arrested for espionage. Soaps.com reported about a contract dispute with the show last June.
