Thia Megia was born in Hayward, California where she attended Eden Gardens Elementary School until sixth grade when she started cyber-school online at California Virtual Academy when her family moved her to Mountain House, California.

Megia has a lovely singing voice and has won competitions all over California. Megia went on America's Got Talent where she made it to the quarterfinals and later was advanced to voting rounds on American Idol.

Megia began working on Days of our Lives November 30, 2018 as Haley Chen.
